Steven R. Kotarba, Esq.
President
Steven (“Steve”) R. Kotarba has nearly thirty years of experience advising and supporting fiduciaries. A licensed attorney, Mr. Kotarba began his legal career at one of the world’s preeminent international law firms, where he focused on complex restructuring matters. Before founding Hill Street Settlement Advisors, he served as a Managing Director at a leading global financial advisory firm. In both roles, he advised trustees, boards of directors, company officers and others on legal and financial issues in some of the largest and most complex matters of the past three decades.
Mr. Kotarba earned his J.D. with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law, where he was a member of the Iowa Law Review. He graduated with honors from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, where he also pitched for the varsity baseball team. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and has been admitted pro hac vice in numerous other state and federal jurisdictions.
